Puttu and Kandala Curry
Puttu is Malayalees favorite dish which is basically a cylindrical steamed cake prepared with steamed rice flour. People usually have this dish in the form of breakfast.

Idli Sambar/ chutney
Steamed fermented rice and lentils are used to prepare Idli and usually served with coconut chutney and hot steaming sambar.
Appam and Stew
This dish is one of the best Kerala’s breakfast delights. It’s often served with stew, chicken curry, mutton or even with fish molly.
This is known as a royal lunch served on a banana leaf. It combines a variety of dishes in it such as khichdi, pulliserry, pachadi, olan, varavu, sambar etc.
